The week that Monday was a stressful one, Moustaches again! & Student lock in 🙂
Monday 26th September
Tina’s this week was pulling out our face casts from last week & filing them down to make them smooth ready for sculpting next week 🙂 Lauren’s face turned out great 😛 I spent 2 hours, sanding it, filing and smoothing making sure it was perfect ready to start creating my creation on Monday next week 🙂
I did have the chance to start this week, however I wasn’t in the best mind set to start it off, so I decided to wait and draw up some designs before I start. Last year I remember I just winged it and that’s not always the best thing to do 🙂
Oh & I got electrocuted this week by the bloody plug socket, taking the drill out of the wall, it shocked me 😦 it really hurt… so that was my Monday morning lol!
Garry’s class this week lasted the whole of 10 mins, while he asked if we had any problems & then decided we didn’t need to stay BONUS!.
On the way home, we hopped onto the train, tired and knackered… it got stuck at Wigan 😦 we literally had to jump from one train to the other with like 5 min.. unfortunately for Nicole she was asleep lol.. bless her she had to literally run half asleep with me and Leah shouting at her to move her arse hahaha.
Tuesday 27th September
Sam’s Class today was learning plaiting techniques & carrying on with these moustaches! I’m so proud of myself on how far I got with mine, considering last week it took me 2 hours to do about 6 hairs 🙂
I know this doesn’t look like loads, but there was more hairs by the time the lesson had finished! the orange bit in the picture, is where all the hairs have to be 🙂 I have about 4-5 weeks to get it all done, hair by hair 🙂
We didn’t have Anna-May this week as some of the girls went off to be in the audience of Countdown…. We chose to not go because A. The normal Countdown is boring (If it was 8 out of 10 cats I would have gone) & B. it would have meant that we got home late! Plus student lock in was on this week.
Which leads me on to heading to a really cute dessert house called Carmello which did loads of cakes & Macaroons 🙂 I had a passion fruit one, Pistachio and a Vanilla & Strawberry one, they were so yummy :D…
after that we headed to Lauren’s flat for an hour and chilled out until It was time to head into Manchester City Centre for the huge student shopping night…. we went everywhere! I got a new pair of jeans and this really cute jacket… I was exhausted by the time I got home….
This Weeks Makeup look I went for was this really cool clown, I wanted to play about with some of my new face paints that I got, and wanted to see what I came up with 🙂 also had to add in the Snapchat filter of course 😛
Its week 2! & back in with Tina Again :D.. This week we got our boxes which had been filled over the weekend ready for the new year 😀 We each get a box with a bunch of materials in, so that everyone has the same amount of products to use over the year so were not arguing over each year using more of one thing than the other!

Anyway Tina’s class this week was making bald caps ready to face cast for our new characters! So applying layer upon layer of latex the bald caps were coming together. This time I’m using Lauren as my model. So after my usual morning nap 😛 and lunch, it was time to get Laurens face casted and ready for next week. Only took me an hour & refreshed my memory about it all form last year :D.
Next up was tutorial with Garry lol, he introduced himself and told us what his lesson was all about. Basically we go to him if we have any problems! Plus he said he’s going to show us how to use Photoshop properly this year, as from my blog posts from last year, you can see all the drama we had in that lesson 😛
Tuesday 20th September
My GOD was it cold this morning! I haven’t missed all that at all, I even had to put my gloves on!
Sam’s class was up first, and this week we had to start the knotting technique ready to start these moustaches & beards! &&&& its sooooo stressful and fiddly! you have to hook about 2 hairs into a little knot using this tool with a hook on the end, but you end up catching the hook on the mesh and then it all just becomes a knotty mess! Took me an hour just to get 6 hairs onto it lol. Once you get into the swing of it, its really easy, but its starting the swing that’s annoying!
Oh & let me introduce you to Hannah! The blonde one in the picture above, she’s part of the gang now 🙂 two Hannah’s in the same class 😛 Hannah 1 & Hannah 2 lol, Such a cool name!
Next week we have to start actually making the moustaches & stuff ready for our characters, this is going to be a stressful few weeks trying to knot it all if I only did those 6 hairs in an hour haha.
Anna Mays class this week was talking about our Cv’s and how to get them ready for industry when we get shoved into the big wide world and have to find a job! we even got to play a game of Kahoot again which we used to do with Lindsay and involves winning sweets 😀 I’m There! always haha.
We had 3 minutes to leg it to the train this week lol, three of us pegging it up the escalator and literally made it by a second before the doors shut! pros at this shit!
So Last year all the girls would take the mick because I always fell asleep everywhere, this year im going to get them all back! starting with Leah & Nicole…. Unfortunately, to Leah’s expense I didn’t save her picture, however Nicole on the other hand, got well and truly paid back!
That will teach you!
This week I also bought a ring light thing that attaches to your phone so you can take better pictures with a bit of extra light, like selfies & stuff, I bought it so when I face paint I can take better pictures as the lighting in this house is not great!
I’m going to try it out tonight to see what its like 😛
The weeks of serious stress, Time running out & its all over….. until September!
so the past couple of weeks have been crazy busy! 2 assessments in 1 day, work to finish off and catch up on. Creating crazy outfits for crazy characters & I was a dragon for the afternoon.
Where do I start….
The past couple of blog posts have been about us making these moulds ready to start making our prosthetic pieces. The last time I posted I think I had just moulded my first one! and it turned out better than what I expected… so the time had come for me & Nicole to use the pieces we had created, on each other for our superhero/Supervillian characters we had to make. Nicole’s was based around the pink dragon from Shrek! and mine was loosely based on Maleficent! they turned out sooo cool. But before I show you, let me take you back to where the stress began!
Nicole had her Supervillain assessment up first! with me kindly being her model for it. she had created big wings, brought me this gorgeous grey wig and brought the fishnet stocking for later 😛 aha. She started by applying the piece to my face, which felt really weird trying to breath through the little slits on the nose piece. She then airbrushed it pink added in the detail (She used the fishnet tights to create scales up my arm and around the prosthetic piece (Magic))and daah daaah the creation was made.
My Supervillain was loosely based on Maleficent 🙂 (Who doesn’t love that movie!)
Her name was Aurella! she had large antlers and a big long cloak and mini antlers growing from her head 🙂 I was so happy with how the final look turned out. However! I need to work on my edges of my prosthetic piece as they took me forever to blend out when it came to applying them. I airbrushed all around the edges with black and blended it into her hair, so you couldn’t see the fact that the prosthetic was slightly bigger than her forehead! she shouted at me as I cut some of her hair off trimming it 😛 Sorry Nicole! I used a giant piece of black fabric to create the cloak, and I was going to make a staff, but it was going to be a lot to carry on the day as I also had another assessment… but more about that shortly. Here was the final Piece.
I attached the antlers by hot glue gunning them to a black headband, I separated her hair and pulled some of it through the middle of the antlers so you couldn’t see it, then tied string to the back to hold it to her head as they were pretty heaving lol. Nicole worked her fabulous magic to make my photos turn out great 🙂 My favourite one yet!
On the same day I had my Directors assessment. We had to create characters that would fit into a directors movie. I chose to do Tim Burton! Love him! I chose to do Pinocchio and turn him into something that would go into a film….I did the sunken eyes, the stripes and the dark messy hair! I also bought a prosthetic pixie nose instead of the usual long nose that Pinocchio has ( in the final image you cant see the nose best)… we had to do a demo in front of some of our classmates and show how to do the make (whilst being filmed) aha the most nerve racking thing ever! Thanks Nadia!
I had my tears that day… it had been a long hard stressful day, plus I wasn’t feeling to great… so I had a moment! the first of many from the girls 😛
I was pleased with the fact I got it all done and they looked great!
A week later it was submission day & 4pm was the deadline… thankfully I had completed the work the night before and just wanted to hand it in and get it out of my possession lol. I did the best I could and fingers crossed I at least get a pass! The queues for the printers that day was unreal…. there was a lot of paper, laptops and glue sticks! with everyone running around frantically trying to get all their work done on time! Us girls had arranged a meal in the local restaurant, to have drinks, a big meal and a final catch up before we all broke up for the summer! It was a fabulous after noon! *Clink* Thank F**k its all over!

I have learnt my lesson this time and I’m determined to do even better next year and not be so lazy on a few things….. I shall be spending the summer researching on more stuff & buying more makeup for my kit!

The week we had sad news, the Lost Girls happened & I did my first prosthetic piece
Sadly on Sunday night my poor little cat Cleo sadly passed away after having 14 wonderful years in our family 😀 it was a very sad evening, however full of memories of her from the day we first got her and how she has grown up with us over the years. My gorgeous little tortoise shell.
Monday 25th April
Today was Fairy-tale Assessment day! and they turned out really cool 😀 after dashing around all morning trying to sort ourselves out, it was time to set up & start preparing the model for the final pictures…. Nadia was my fabulous assistant… I had her curling my models hair, covering her in synthetic mud & even wrapping leather straps around my models body. (thanks Nadia!) I also had a wonderful model, who turned up on time, was really nice & got me some great shots 🙂 Although it was a individual assessment, we also had to work as a team and our models had to mesh together to create a final image :D. We decided to re-create the scene in the film Hook, where the Lost Boys hold up signs, to help Peter Pan think happy thoughts to learn to fly 🙂 I even made us some cardboard signs 😛

Tuesday 26th March…
Today felt like a really long day, I was so tired from the day before I just felt like poop all day 😦
Sam’s lesson this morning, I had Lauren practicing her Directors character on me, where I think I’m going to be this fairy evil queen or something, but the makeup and hair looked well badass & cool 😛
these photos didn’t do it great justice, but it did look really cool 😀 I’m excited to be her model.
Tina’s class I finally got to press my mould together to create a prosthetic piece and it turned out pretty well for the first one 😀 so I’m exited to see how its going to turn out on the face 😀
The pink one is the piece that I will be wearing which Nicole made & mines the one on the end 🙂 it looks really cool as a final piece!
Its bank holiday next Monday so itll be nice to have a day off to my self 😀
The week of what the hell happened, uni life! & I’m Fed up!
I haven’t written a blog post for uni for about 2-3 weeks now lol… 2 reasons 1. No internet! & 2. We Moved house!….. for some be known reason the mother decided to switch the Wi-Fi over from our old house to our new house 10 days before we actually moved. So I was without internet and access to the outside world for a whole 10 days! Hence no bl0g. While I sit here right this second in my shabby clothes, covered in paint and dust loosing the will to live..with a spare few mins I might add! I thought id sit down and write this post and take you back to 2 weeks ago and what’s been going on!
University!:
As far as I can remember over the past few weeks, we sat down with Lindsay and carried on with our smart target.. the second week it was bank holiday Monday so we didn’t have to go in that day aha!
VICKY’S! I remember… it was the week Me, Nicole, Leah, Molly & Lauren all sat in the library and actually got on with work for a change 😀 we all sat around together to make sure everyone was on the right page… and Leah was searching for an outfit for her fairy-tale costume!.
proof she was actually working hahaha. then onto Carl’s lesson and I couldn’t tell you what had happened that week as I’m pretty sure we just stayed in the library until 4 and then went home 😛 Sneaky 😛
Sam’s class for the past 2 weeks was actually fun, the first week we did an acid burn… I did it with SFX cosmetics & products, where Nicole had to re create the same thing but with homemade stuff, like banana’s and gelatine (which failed) 😛 both wounds looked really good, as for pictures, I have what mine looked like but the after math mess of Nicole’s 😦 (Note to self! take pictures!)
Pretty Smelly id say!. The second week was us just starting our ideas for our Directors assessment… I think I’m going to do Pinocchio Tim Burton style 😀 I’m still looking at ideas :D.
Tina’s lessons were basically us doing the moulds that we built the week before and preparing them for the next stage which is creating the prosthetic… however… these 2 weeks we had to do layers upon layers of bald cap plastic again!!!! about 9 coats I did to get it write, we got to leave early as we cant really do much while they are drying 😦
We basically had to pull them apart, clean the face of all clay, then clean out the actual mould (picking out all the pieces) and then layering them up with bald cap plastic!
Then Half Term Began!!!!!
This is where everything went Pete Tong! aha as we finally moved in to this new house, which is so much bigger and has so much space… I’m currently trying to get my room ready so I can move into it and don’t have to share with mum lol….. but its beginning to get on my nerves as it has taken so long so far to get to the place where I’m at and its not even ready yet (sulking!) iv only just put the first layer of paint on, after spending 3 days wall papering, having it plastered, new skirting boards & everything!… plus the most stressful thing is we don’t have carpets yet which is a nightmare! so everything is super duper dusty, you shower and your dusty again after 5 mins (slight exaggeration!) but you catch my drift! Even the cat has gone from being white to grey :D. After almost 4 months off work due to the floods back in December… the day has rolled around to start back at work tomorrow… and although I have enjoyed my time off… it hasn’t been a holiday 😦 I need a break already! this is going to be exhausting trying to study at uni, renovate a house, work and do uni work at home FML!!
To Cheer myself up I bought Zara Martin headphones, which have cat ears and are awesome! I’m in love with them!!!
By the way, If you don’t hear from me for a few days, iv crawled under a rock to sulk! ill be about shortly 😀
The week we met Clare Golds, Wounds with Sam & Silicone Moulds.
Monday 14th March
For a change in Lindsay’s class this week, we got to meet a lovely woman called Clare Golds! She is a well known makeup artist in the industry and has worked on things like Doctor Who and a bunch of other stuff 🙂 we had a hilarious lesson….. First off we had to create a look in 40 mins with a scenario of having one thing quirky on your model. Example – you had to do a natural look, but add something quirky like a bold colour on the eye/lip or maybe blue blusher, something crazy and wacky. Me, Nicole & Lauren were in a three, first off we worked on Lauren and gave her Blue & Purple wacky eyebrows. It was down to the last minute and we had realised we hadn’t done anything with her hair!!! we literally had 1 minute to tie her hair in these weird looking buns on the top of her head! safe to say we didn’t win that round as they were wonky and it just looked a mess hahaha.

The next scenario, was to recreate something from some century which I cant remember, with a natural makeup look, but we had to re-create these hairstyles that were horrible 😀 I decided to choose one that was a little challenging to try on Nicole’s super long hair! Nightmare! Her hair is so thick and long!

Clare said she liked the hairstyle aha! We had a good laugh with her and it was nice to get an in site into the industry a little.
We got to leave Lindsay’s lesson an hour early for lunch, so we had a whole 2 hours! Lisa came up with the fab idea about us all going to the pub as we hadn’t been out as a full group since we started in September! So Ashleigh, Lisa, Katie, Nadia, Me, Sophie, Nicole, Lindsay (Liverpool Lindsay), Lauren, Sanita, Jess & Molly Headed to the Woodstock for a well deserved lunch!

Vicky’s and Carl’s were pretty much the same this week, Vicky’s we just caught up on some of our work for our fairy tale assessment, and carl’s was just photo shop & any other crap I decide I want to do hahaha 🙂 I Got photo shop for free on my laptop which I got excited about because I can do all my work from home at my own pace haha.
Tuesday 15th March
Sam’s this week was catching up on this Directors assessment that’s coming around soon, we sat down and sorted out all our dates and times and ideas that we had, we had to fill out paper work so Sam knew where we were at. After all that we got to sit down and do a little task where we have to choose a casualty makeup, one of us has to create it with sfx products, the other has to create the wound with home made products and then present it to each other next week, which will be fun and interesting to know what home made products we can use to create stuff!
Our moulds are finally taking shape for Tina!
This is what my mould looked like when I came back to it, all the clay had dried and cracked, and the first layer is dry. Next we have to mix up A & B again from last week and then add in this next thing called Thixotropic… which we call tropical juice haha (we know what were taking about 😛 ). This stuff you literally pile all over your mould and then leave again for another 6 hours to go completely solid, ready to be pulled apart next week and cleaned out! this is getting exciting to see what there going look like when there done!
Anyway I’m off to sort my life out haha I have so much work to do this week!

Monday 7th March..
Lindsay’s class this week was this smart target stuff again, nothing exciting just pulling ourselves together ready for this new essay thing we got to write 😀
Vicky’s this week was us sorting out our Fairy-tale idea and which Lost Boy we were picking to do for the assessment 🙂 I’m so excited to start making the outfit and everything for this assessment 😛
Carl’s class involved me photo shopping my 1940’s photos, still not finished it or 100% happy, but its getting there, I managed to remove the logo off her boiler suit and Photoshop a giant British flag behind her, Oh and we greyed it slightly.
Tuesday 8th March…
This week in Sam’s class all the other girls had their 1940’s assessments, me and Nicole were supposed to practice airbrushing for our superhero assessment, but she ended being roped in as a model for Ashleigh, so ill let her off, so I pretty much pottered about, annoyed everyone and had a mess around with the airbrushing gun for the whole of 10 mins lol… this is what I achieved hahaha 😀 Loads Right!
We finally finished the moulding part of our prosthetics, and it was time to do the next stage. Basically you have to build a moat around the prosthetic piece to pour the silicone on to create the negative mould!, so this involved loads of WED clay being built up (WED clay is clay that Walt Disney uses to create little figures, its named after him) So by this point my mould started to look like a dinosaur hahaha
you put little keyhole things in the clay so you can pop the mould out when the silicone has been poured in, we even had to cover the eyes with these star shapes, which makes it look really creepy!
Next step its to mix picture A and picture B together which creates the first layer of silicone which takes 6 hours to cure (Dry)

Wednesday 9th March.
I went to Nicole’s house to meet up with her ready to head to Manchester, we nipped into Manchester town centre so I could grab a new suitcase for uni & one of those neck pillows for the long journey we had coming up the following day. Leah met up with us in Manchester, so we could grab some food which was yum!, we found this noodle bar, which is right next to the train station, where you can fill it up with noodles and toppings and eat loads, The spring rolls weren’t very nice, and it was pretty filling but it was nice lol. It doesn’t look very appetising but it was lol.
Molly came to pick us up, ready to head to the supermarket to grab some munchies for the bus the next day. Stocking up on Sweets, chocolate and more junk food, we were ready. Slumber party at Molly’s, we had a good time, even though we had a boiling night sleep, Nicole decided to sleep on me and Leah made weird noises when she slept hahahaha.
Thursday 10th March…. Harry Potter Day!!!
5am wake up call, to get out life together, jump in the car and get  to uni for 6am for the bus which would drive us all the way down to London to Harry Potter Studios! 5 hours it took on the way there on this really fancy bus we had, where the chairs reclined and it had a toilet :D.
Arriving at 11am we were all dying of tiredness, but we were excited to be there 😀

Random Fact but there were 17 fire places made in the Ministry Of Magic, all the green tiles were made from wood and hand painted (they blew them all up in one of the last movies), and they made 15,000 orbs for the Atrium (handmade) and then decided to use CGI instead after all the hard work of making them.

The SFX side of the movie was really cool, we got to see all the face casts of the different characters & Actors, all the Animatronics’ such as the book that has the teeth, buck beak who moved and blinked, the giant spider which took 16 people just to operate and things like Voldemort when he was that little gremlin thing which moved and so did the Mandrake which bopped up and down out of his plant pot lol.

Firstly Butter Beer Is Rank! Its Like a soda float, that’s fizzy and buttery but also bitter! The white foamy scum on the top is nice though! 😛 Me & Nicole shared one as we weren’t sure if we were going to like plus it was £7 just for one cup! privet drive was shut but apparently as of May there opening it up so you can go in and have a look around. Also in that section was the wooden bridge, I think it was the shrieking shack, Ron’s blue car & Hagrids bike.

It was cool that you got to go on the Hogwarts express, and look in all the carriage’s. They were layed out like they were in the film’s and it showed which film and year it was from. We didn’t want to pay £14 for the professional images lol, so we cheated and took pictures of them when they came up on the screen 😀

Looking at all the architecture and drawings they did before they even created the movies was amazing!, when we walked around the corner, this giant replica of Hogwarts was there! I mean its HUGE! and we were like WOW!

We had an amazing day, even though it was tiring and I didn’t get back to my own bed until 1am on Friday morning lol. From the gift shop I bought one of those Snap board things they use in the movies when there doing a scene! 😀 always wanted one! plus before we left, we noticed there was a new film set being built for a new movie! we had a guess what it might be. However I was on a mission to find out exactly! So I ran over to the fence, this bloke on a fork lift truck was driving past… I shouted OI! & This was literally the convo:
Me: What going to be filmed on this set?
The Bloke: I’m not aloud to tell you….
Me: Ahhh please I wont tell anyone lol, Give me a clue!
The Bloke: Well where are you? Its something related to Harry Potter
(We guessed that it was Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them, which is the book Harry Potter reads in one of the movies)
Me: So is it to do with the book Harry reads?
The Bloke: (Winks at me) Yes!!!
Woooooooooooo!! So apparently its being filmed in the summer and will be out soon starring Eddie Redmayne! (Sorry Mr Fork lift Man but I can keep my mouth shut!) 😛

The week where smart targets began, we got to play with our airbrush guns and the 1940’s assessment arrived!
Monday  29th January…
Monday morning and it was only me & Nicole on the train as Leah wasn’t very well, grabbing the early morning brew as always we sailed into Lindsay lesson. In this lesson we were learning about these smart targets we have to do as part of our next written assessment thing. OHHH before I forget we got our results this week for our 2000 word essays,  ill get to that in a minute though. Lindsay always has a game we can play first thing in the morning to get our brains working, we win sweets if we get the questions right. My Fav part of the day aha! We had to fill in a few worksheets before we could get these results by the end of the lesson. I was happy with my result considering I struggled with the assessment 😀
Into Vicky’s lesson, she had the Kahoot game set up that we used to play with Lindsay, its basically a game we can all play off our phones and we get to give ourselves player names 😀  and again if we got the whole quiz right we won sweets!! I swear they bribe us! 😀 This week I decided to name myself Hissyfit Hannah! the new nickname they gave me hahaha, everyone burst out laughing when it came up on screen 😛
Once we had a game of that, we got out our airbrush guns and got to play around on old white t-shirts using different materials to create different effects which was fun! However… 1. I got the powder paints out because I wanted to test them on the fabric ready for our Fairy tale assessment in a few weeks RESEARCH! and 2. Me & Nicole got a little stress with each other over our final idea for the assessment, which resulted in me peering of the top of the toilet cubicle to cheer a teary eyed Nicole out after she was having a moment! Don’t Judge… we all get like that! Iv been like that over a jar of mayo once when I couldn’t get it open! doesn’t help being stressed either ahah! 😛  so this basically meant we didn’t get much time with the airbrush gun to have a full play about with it like the others. Just to clarify we are back on track now lol.
Carl’s lesson this week was actually serious aha, we had to sit for 45 mins looking at this stupid presentation about respect lol… everyone was getting stress as we just wanted to crack on with our work. However everyone had a rant again about the course and the college, which is starting to get a little bit funny now haha.

Tuesday 1st March…
This morning was pretty chaotic! it was the 1940’s assessment and everyone was running around manic trying to get heated rollers in, outfits ready and their makeup stations set up not to mention getting your makeup brushes sparkling or you loose marks aha! mine was at 11am so I had plenty of time to get ready and I had the lovely Molly as my model 😀 I was going for a 1940’s working girl kinda look, with the added fact we had a nice black dress and shoes to change into at the end to take some photos. I did have a little with the hair as it is so fiddly, so Sam came and gave me a hand, but I got there in the end lol, I’m really happy with the final images, I have a sneak peek you can look at before I photo shop them 😀 plus a look a my immaculate before picture of my work station, you loose marks if its not tidy or in order lol. Sam said she was impressed with my patience over the hair as she could see that I was getting frustrated 😛 that’s a win for me aha! (I didn’t throw a hissyfit for a change 😛 )
Tina’s this week was just finishing off our moulds and getting them ready for the next stage of the process, we had a demo this week showing us how to apply the lining around our moulds ready to cast them into the prosthetic pieces 😀 me and Nicole had to leave early to catch a train s we did miss the end part of the demo so will defo have to catch up next week lol

The week of half term & the week where Nicole became a fairy & I finally finished that mould iv been whinging about for weeks lol.
I came to visit you in London for half term, and we had a really good time :P. Living a student life for a few days wasn’t the best though haha, being freezing cold all the time and having to cook for ourselves for a change haha. Anyway Sunday was fun for me even though I didn’t see you for part of the day, it was nice for me to step out of my comfort zone, hop on the tube and head to Oxford Street for some needed retail therapy :D. Monday was nice for us all to go out to Covent Garden For Lunch at that Big Easy place which was like a lobster shack aha!. Then it was on to Camden to weave in and out all the little market stalls and down the main strip bit and look at all the shops. Ronan even wanted to break my Cyber Dog “virginity” haha because id never been in there… although I’m pretty sure we had years ago! We were out from 11am – 8pm and safe to say we were shattered by the end of it! Tuesday rolled around and we headed to Covent Garden again to meet up with dad & Oscar… and even though the British Museum wasn’t that exciting & Oscar got cross because the “magic” words I told him to say to make the mummies come to life didn’t work, we can say we have now been lol :D. Heading to Embankment was nice to go have a look at the Thames and the London eye and stuff, and stuffing our faces full of Nutella & Waffles YUM!… it was lovely to have a chill out & a catch up with dad…. after he left we headed off to Trafalgar Sq. to look in that BORING art museum lol…. although you were adamant we looked around hahaha! plus your rapping to that Rastafarian guy in Oxford Street was hilarious! definitely a fun memory to have which is why I had to write this down 😛

Monday 22nd February
Seeing the gang again after a week and a bit is nice…. because weirdly I do miss them when I don’t see them haha… catching up on the train about what had been going on over half term and about my trip to London was funny to… this week we headed in a bit later than usual as we weren’t sure who’s lesson we were in this week! turns out all of them *Head In Hands* we got a little excited thinking we were going to miss a few haha. In Lindsay’s this week we were playing a quiz where we won sweets if we got the answer right! Me being me was straight in there lol any mention of chocolate or sweets I’m there 😛 although we had finished that 2000 word essay, Lindsay thought it would be a great idea to drop on us that we have another 1,500 to write!!! SAKE!!! It will be a doddle I’m sure lol. Next up was Vicky’s and this week it was a demo on Fairy tale…. Nicole nominated herself to be worked on lol. She was a fairy from A Mid Summers Night Dream (Never Seen It) hahaha but she looked pretty funky. And it was glitter galore…. that shit gets everywhere! lol
This week in Carl’s lesson it was back to Photoshop again and FML its the worst programme in the history of this world! I mean seriously have you ever tried doing anything on that stupid thing 😀 it just doesn’t cooperate! By 4:30 id had enough and it was time to head home lol.
Tuesday 23rd February
Sam’s class was practicing 1940’s AGAIN! lol although this week I decided to sit on my laptop and sort out my Pinterest boards and sort my assessment idea out, by the 3rd hour it was stressing me out so I decided to Dutch plait everyone’s hair… they all started to look the same haha. Sam clicked on and said to me is there any other plaits id like to learn! it then became a gathering as she showed us how to do a 4 stem flat plait, a 6 stem basket plait thing and then a 3D plait… it actually taught me something new and widened my variety of plait making *don’t know why I found that funny* hahaha so the lesson became more interesting lol. Iv been given a new nickname from Lisa & a few others…. Hissy fit Hannah lol because I stress all the time hahaha Thanks guys!
Finally in Tina’s lesson this week, I actually turned my mould that has taken me 2 weeks of pulling the clay off and re applying it! into something I like and is heading in the direction that I had in mind! PHEW! I’m pretty pleased with it actually and Tina did comment on how relaxed I was hahaha patience gets you places iv decided 😛 Next week its on to creating the actual prosthetic pieces now its been smoothed out & textured. Nicole’s pieces that she’s making to fit my face look really cool as well, she spent all lesson creating teeny tiny scales onto her mould (which I didn’t get a picture of :()
Its assessments next week so kill me now as all this week I got to sort my life out and pull my shit together…

Monday 8th February…
Hallelujah!!!!!!! that bloody essay that has been the Bain of my life since November has finally been submitted & is over! it was a 2000 word essay and I struggled, dread to think what its going to be like when I do my 10,000 in the third year hahaha…. anyway rolling in to uni this week at 1pm, we sat in the library frantically trying to help Leah get the last of her essay on to word, because like most of us she left it until last minute. Putting the last touches to them all, we all went up to dispensary to hand them over, sign our life away and never see them again until we get the results haha. this week we didn’t have to go into Lindsay’s or Vicky’s as they were both marking this week, we only had to go in and finish off work. However we did need to go to Carl’s and finish up some touches on Photoshop! We do have this great idea for our fairy-tale assessment which involves throwing either paint powder over each other or colour shaving foam to re-create the scene in Hook, around the dinner table… so excited but its going to be super duper messy!
On my way home from uni, we left at quarter to 5, I had to change trains in Nicole’s hometown! sat waiting for the train to move, they announced that further up the line they had lost electricity!!!!!! not happy…2 and a half hours it took me to get home, I ended having to get a bus all the way back! not happy! Thanks for that Virgin!
Tuesday 9th February..
Its Leah’s Birthdaaaaay!!! & We bought her a Colin The Caterpillar Cake!!!!!! it was yummy!
Sam’s lesson this week was practicing 1940’s again, I let Nicole practice her makeup skills on me again while I just messed around with her hair so I could see how to do it for my assessment. I then robbed Nadia’s bandana and decided to just hang about and annoy everyone as usual hahaha.
onto Tina’s lesson and this week we were still sculpting out our faces, I did have photos but its so bad at the minute I cant even look at it haha, I have literally pulled the clay off of it about 9 times by now, I even had to ring mum for her to give me words of advice aha! thankfully it slowly starting to look better. With a little bit of patience & some time it will turn out how I want it to look eventually hahaha… I did beg Tina to let me bring it home but she wont :(.
Its Half Term now aswel!!
Anyway! I’m coming to visit this week and I’m so excited!! to get away for a few days and have some fun!
